Cranberry White Chocolate Chip Granola Bars
If you know me, you know that I am always making some type of organic snack for my kids. And these chewy cranberry white chocolate chip granola bars are such a fun recipe for the whole family. They have that perfect chewy texture and with those white chocolate chips and dried cranberries, this is simply the best chewy granola bar recipe!

Snack time in our home is a big deal, arguably the best part of any day. I personally make all of my kids snacks homemade with only wholesome and organic ingredients. It’s the best way to save money AND it only takes a few basic ingredients, a few minutes of work, and I have my kids great snacks that I can trust. A lot of store-bought bars have ingredients like natural and artificial flavors that I will not feed to my family, so making these homemade granola bars really gives me some peace of mind.
What kind of white chocolate chips should I use?
I love making these granola bars with these mini white chocolate chips! I don’t know why, but they just make them that much better. But you can really use any type of white chocolate chips. I also like buying these mini white chocolate chips in bulk because we go through a lot, and it is cheaper!
Can I use a different sweetener than honey?
The only other sweetener I have tried for this recipe is maple syrup. I didn’t have enough honey so I used 1/2 cup raw honey + 1/2 cup maple syrup. They turned out great this way, but I have not tested this recipe with any other sweeteners because I wanted to keep in refined sugar free! Ingredients
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup raw honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup flour
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
3/4 cup mini white chocolate chips
1/2 cup dried cranberries
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325, then line a 13″ x 9″ pan with parchment paper, or grease lightly with olive oil or butter
2. Cream softened butter, honey, and vanilla together in a large bowl
3. Add in the oats, flour, chia seeds, and baking soda. Then mix well
4. Stir in the mini white chocolate chips and dried cranberries
5. Pour the oat mixture into the prepared pan, and press down on the mixture to make it even throughout the pan
6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, the edges should just start to brown
7. Let cool for about 10 minutes, then cut into bars while still in the pan. Let cool completely
8. Remove from the pan and enjoy!
Notes
1. This recipe can be frozen for up to 3+ months (they never last longer than that for us)
2. You can store on the counter in an airtight container, or in the fridge, whichever you prefer is great.
3. You can use whatever add-ins you want, as long as the add-ins do not go over a cup! I also have a delicious chocolate chip granola bar recipe, give it a try also!
